JGA Inc (Architecture & Retail Design)

Interra Industries (Departure Tools Fabrication)

Description:

Through an existing relationship with Saks Inc, JGA and IC teamed to reinvent the department store experience for the Parisian division. The project design goals focused on creating an exterior environment much more welcoming and community friendly upon approach than the typical “big box”, while providing an engaging and merchandise friendly interior.

The completed lighting design met several critical requirements such as efficiency, performance, adaptability for merchandising requirements and ease of maintenance. Kinetic “departure tools” were developed as mobile merchandising units with the capability of providing multi-media presentations. These eye-catching wireless tools can be positioned anywhere within the store for product demonstration and special event marketing.

IC Scope:

All interior & exterior architectural lighting and retail lighting & multi-media design. Departure tools design, audio integration, control systems, implementation, project management, procurement and logistics.
