Smart Streets

Illuminating Concepts’ fusion design strategy includes the use of street and walkway lighting elements in a manner that communicates both day and night with the visitor.

“Smart Streets” patented and completely concealed speaker system (CPS) within the pole or landscape structure allows for background, foreground, paging and message overlays for any area where a landscape element is placed. Coupled with the CPS sound system are patent pending color changing luminaires that provide both high efficiency white light and millions of selectable colors. These luminaires are available in many different styles.

Wireless controls, two way communications, “card swipe” I.D. for performers as well as security staff allow the Smart Streets system to be used in both new and existing situations.

Finally, all of this technology is available as a Homeland Security system for detection of a number of naturally occurring adverse situations with the ability to communicate directly to any zone, city street, neighborhood or community.
